Gallery

Founded in 2003, the Hioco Gallery is dedicated to ancient and contemporary Asian sculpture.

Recognized for its expertise in ancient statuary from India, the Indianized world, and Vietnam, the gallery opens a seminal dialogue with 21st-century creations, specifically Japanese ceramic art.

Past and present converge in this opening. It embodies a return to the gallery’s origins, when Christophe Hioco lived in Kyoto where his passion for Asian art was born, and the legacy of ancestral know-how in favor of resolutely contemporary abstract forms.
